Chris spent ten years working at Telecom where he managed their South Island Network Portfolio, joined Bayleys in 1999 where he successfully managed the Upper South Island portfolio of LINZ for 2 years and their South Island portfolio for further 2 1/2 years before stepping into the commercial environment at Grenadier in 2006. Chris has vast experience in acquisitions, leasing, reviews, facilities management and general administration, particularly of large portfolios.

Further to my brief discussion with you this morning it is my pleasure to drop you a line recording my personal appreciation for the manner in which you have handled the lease expiry and rental negotiations relating to Jill at Staveley Street.
When Jill was advised of the rental increase proposed she was hugely concerned as to how that might affect the ongoing viability of their business. She knew me as a friend and asked whether I could help. We met you and expressed our concerns. You confirmed that you would review the position, discuss it with the landlord and respond in a helpful way if you could. You did this by proposing a scaled a rent increase and this offer was genuinely appreciated by Jill and myself.
Knowing that one does not always get recognition for attitude and professional performance in real estate I just want to write to thank you sincerely for the manner in which you have handled this negotiation, for promising what you would do and doing what you promised.
